Willow Tree Mental Wellness:

Empowering Positive Change

Are you ready for change?

You are not broken. Nothing is wrong with you.

You have everything you need to flourish.

My job is just to show you how.

Why Willow Tree?

The willow tree is flexible and adaptable. Its branches can be bent into the most contorted shapes yet they don’t break. It grows in wet and dry conditions, and its bark has healing properties to ease pain. Root systems in the willow tree are strong - so strong that when planted near a lake shore or river bank - they prevent flooding. Harsh conditions do not prevent growth. Its branches can grow roots and grow into a whole new tree. Growing in clusters, willow trees form an interconnected root system.

Human experience is one of constant change. We all experience seasons in our lives - times of growth, dormancy, and renewal. Flexibility allows us to navigate difficulties without breaking. Resiliency enables us to withstand challenges and continue to grow. We have the capacity for lifelong learning and an ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances, sometimes intensely difficult ones. Connection to others strengthens us.

The willow tree embodies the values and traits all clients can relate to - and often crave - in their growth journey.

The willow tree uses its inherent gifts to bend not break. So can you.

Services

Anxiety

Anxiety is something we all experience, and it sometimes gets in the way of us functioning optimally. I work with clients to learn to identify ways anxiety “shows up” in your life and I teach coping strategies to help manage anxiety.

Life Transitions

A move, a new relationship, beginning college, empty nesting, a new job, the death of a loved one… these are all moments in life that can be difficult to manage. Adjusting to a new way of being can be painful to navigate. I can help you process the thoughts and emotions around these experiences and help you feel more confident and secure - and less alone - in your life.

Trauma resolution

The training I received to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional - in plain terms - gives me a strong foundation to help you recognize and resolve trauma as you experience it in your own life. You don’t have to suffer alone - there are approaches and techniques that can help you feel better and able to move forward.
